Hello and thank you for visiting our website, which, without our friend Jon wouldn't exsist!!
I've been asked many times to create a page but due to some brain function which I was very obviously born without.....the ability to do it myself, or bully/ bribe my son to do it for me, has up till now eluded me!! So I have Jon to thank for taking pity on me and setting up this new place for me to ramble about Raggies!
fact, I have many friends to thank without whom I wouldn't be talking to you now. Perhaps it's best to start at the beginning........
We are Amanda and Francessco Zanchetta, we have been married for over 21 years and have a son Jordan. We reside in West London, and have been passionate about Ragdoll Cats for several years, since a good friend Liz, entrusted me with her two pregnant girls , Comfie and Bonnie, whilst she received treatment for breast cancer!
Instantly we were enamoured of this wonderful breed and well and truly "Hooked", we loved having the kittens around they were such a joy. So when after a long and gruelling illness, Liz asked us to "Adopt" the cats on a permanent basis, we were thrilled to accept. She brought her Stud Boy Sonny and her other young Queen, Kira to join the family and the rest, as they say is history.
We learned all we could, as quickly as we could, and Liz left us the name and number of a kind and experienced breeder to whom we could turn for advice if needed. This friend (you know who you are!) has been a wonderful, seemingly, endless source of knowledge and advice over the years and, due to her patience and good guidance, we are where we are today! We are very blessed to have such smashing friends.
We pride ourselves on being ethical breeders, only doing what is in the very best interests of our pets, through the attention and love we give, a careful and thoughtful breeding program and only the best possible nutrition and veterinary care.
My son is a great help, as he is passionate about the "Genetics" side of breeding and cleverly predicts the probable outcome of the matings we decide on, very very helpful indeed!! Actually, growing up with the Ragdolls, (he's 17 now) is the main reason he has decided to apply to Glasgow University to study Veterinary Genetics.
Even though we have had the pleasure of participating in the adoption of many kittens over the years, each and every new adoption is extra special to us and we remain in touch with all our new "Raggie Slaves" to exchange news, veiws and photos!
We'd love to discover how we can help enrich your life by rehoming you with one of our charming pet kittens. I offer a life time of support and advice in return for the odd photo!!
Genuine enquiries are warmly welcomed ..... 'Undecided that this beautiful breed is right for you?' .....then without obligation just arrange to come and have a look .....you'll soon fall head over heels in love! ~ Should all our current litter of kittens have been addopted, you're most welcome to place a first option reservation on our next litter.
All personal visits to view or adopt our fabulous babies are by appointment which can be arranged with a telephone call.
More than one visit before you choose is recommended and encouraged.
